Aaaaah, ckielstra you are correct.

The error was in the last line of my include file. The #include directive being just before the line indicated in the error message.

I am using a 16F87 PIC. I need an interrupt on overflow, so I am using the TIMER1 overflow interrupt. The problem I am encountering is a "Expected =" right at the beginning of the interrupts ...
