When doing any bootloader, you need to compile it first, with 'loader_end' set to a very large value.


This might sound stupid but please bear with me as I'm still new to the whole bootloader thin ...

I've had a similar issue so, may be this will work for you. Try making a short between the Vdd "+ve supply" and the V0 "Pin 18" then release. See if that shows anything on your GL ...
