i asked CCS few months ago , about drivers in pscwhd for OTG and USB Host, they answer me that they are working on, and write those drivers , and they will be soon available !
I'm always wait ...

now it's ok !!!
just few lines to use the MCP3202 , 12 bits analog to digital converter , with pic microcontroller :

USE spi hardware if you can !

#use spi(FORCE_HW, BITS=16,SAMPLE_RISE, ...

I post these few lines to make an .inf file for windows X64.
For all of us who have problems to use their own USB_CDC with CCS under windows VISTA X64.
Save it in CDC_vista.inf

my problem was not make16() but printf i see my error in your post reply !!!

Hello i use pcwhd 4.057 version and trying to use make16() :

int8 in1,in2;
int16 out1;
in1=0x0b;
in2=0xff;

out1=make16(in1,in2);

if i try to read out1 the result will be 0x00ff the higher ...
