First of all, the unsigned int16 "data" is filled from bit13 to bit0. This is a bit fishy, because of positive/negative values are best filled from bit15 to ...

It depends on which fraction you want to get rid of.

Bit3 (LSB) of the TC77 represents 0.0625°C
Bit4 is 0.1250°C
etc...

Total sample value to be multiplied with LSB value for a temperature ...
