hi,
I want to make my PIC (16F628) oscillate at 60Hz and a timer that pulse every 0,5 second.
Anybody have an ideia on how to make this work?

PS.: When my timer reach more than 6 secods, it begin floating some miliseconds.

I was thinking in transmit some data codes over rs232.. but that is ok.
i will study the tips that doug has posted.

My idea is place a circuit in front of the TV and when the TV show the color red on the entire screen the circuit play a siren or something.
