Has anyone ported the MicroChip TCP/IP stack to CCS ?
Another question: I'm looking for a simple FTP client using a dial up connection. Anyone know of any code example for CCS or that can be ported ?
Thanks
Hans W

Yes.
I also added PPP to it, although not perfect now.
I didn't port over the file system, SLIP, HTTP server (mostly due to pointers to constants. I got it to compile, but didn't bother to use them)... Only the actual TCP/IP stack I ported and used.
I believe if you ask CCS nicely you can get a copy.

Hello Darren,
I am also reading and looking if I can port TCP/IP stack from
microchip.
Could you send me also a copy of the modified microchip
TCP/IP stack etc.
[email protected]
Best regards,
Gerrit

But you did not say please...
As there is no word for Please in Dutch you may be forgiven...

Yes... now I remember... It's the Norwegians that do not have Please in their language...

Darren - What is the appropriate avenue to "ask CCS nicely"? (via email? - telephone call?)
best regards,

May I try your TCP/IP and PPP implementation for CCS C Compiler?
Does it use an usual modem or a special embedded modem?
Could you send it to my email please : [email protected]
Best Regards |
