16F87x LVP using JTAG?

I'm mixing micros and FPGAs and wonder if anybody has actually managed to make a 16F873/4/6/7 sit in a JTAG chain for flash programming by an external box? Specifically - how do you handle TDO for chaining??

You cannot automatically assume thast everyone will know about these
words

JTAG stands for Joint Test Action Group
TDO is the Test Data Out line
