Hi all,

I need help in coming with a code in PIC C to have a keypad communicate with PIC16F877.

Ill be glad if anyone can help me. This is part of my project in school and time is running out.

If you have a full edition of the CCS compiler available to you, it comes with examples of how to deal with a 4 x 4 matrix keypad.

Also several basic "drivers" such as "KBD.C" found in the DRIVERS subdirectory of a full install.

Otherwise try using Google:

Some results (not necessarily CCS C)

http://www.microchipc.com/sourcecode/
http://www.winpicprog.co.uk/pic_tutorial9.htm (very good ASM tutorial, easily translated to C)

Or use the search feature of this forum, one example:
