Problem with GLCD supplied with EasyPic3 development board
PostPosted: Fri Sep 29, 2006 1:08 am     Reply with quote

Hi everyone

Hope everyone is doing ok

I have a problem interfacing a GLCD (128 x 64)with PIC16f877a (ver 3.249). This GLCD was supplied with the EasyPic3 board (Hu.rev 3.01). I dont know the exact make of the GLCD (on the back of the GLCD it says):

12864ED1621Y
94v0

Its connections are as follows:

pin function
1 CS1
2 CS2
3 Gnd
4 Vcc
5 Vo
6 RS <---- I am assuming this is the same as D/I in glcd.c driver
7 R/W
8 E
9 D0
10 D1
11 D2
12 D3
13 D4
14 D5
15 D6
16 D7
17 RST
18 Vee
19 +5 LED
20 GND LED

I am using the glcd.c file (modified according to the above connections) but there is no display on the GLCD.

Any help would be deeply appreciated.

Best Regards
treitmey

looks like you have this module
http://www.xmocular.com/module/GDM12864B.htm
with this on board controler
http://www.crystalfontz.com/products/DS_S6B0108_V00.pdf#search=%22S6B0108%22

Now you need to find a driver or make one yourself.
