16F690 PWM
PostPosted: Thu May 17, 2007 10:46 pm     Reply with quote

Hi,

I am currently designing a thermal and fan controller but I kind of made a mistake in my PCB. I've connected the wrong PIN to my FET. I connected RC3 instead of RC5. I could resolve this by cutting the track and solder a wire but I was wondering if there is another solution to create a PWM via RC3.

Any help will be useful.

You can probably fix it with the Pulse Steering capability of the 16F690.
But what's your compiler version ? Not all versions have the pulse
steering constants in the .H file.
