how to send data back to microcontroller??

Help.....
Anybody can teach me or show me some useful link to send data : 0-100 integer back to microcontroller and then display it on 7-segment?
I reali no idea to do it...

What device are you sending the data from?

Assuming you are sending from a PC, the easiest hardware connection to use is RS232. An example of how to receive data using RS232 is the ex_sisr.c program in the examples directory of the CCS compiler.
