Hi,
I use the ccs c version 3.236. For my PIC 18F6723 I need the header file. As the responsible person for that programm stays at holiday the next three weeks I couldn't upgrade the ccs c. So can somebody give me the header file of the PIC 18F6723?
Thanks.
p.s. This is not a fake story!

The short answer is no. CCS considers redistribution of their header files to be unauthorized and anyone other than CCS providing that file is considered unauthorized.
Having the just the header file would be of no use to you anyway. It would not work without an upgrade to the compiler. Thats why they have compiler maintenance.

Ok I thought that it doesn't work that way.
But can I use the header file of the PIC 18F6722 instead? Or is that not possible?
Thanks!

I have never done it myself I have seen a number of folks here suggesting
that you can build for a chip supported by the compiler and load it into a
similar chip.
Obviously the drawback to this is lack of support for features not included in the similar chip.
Maybe someone here who has done that could jump in...
