Dear All,
Has anyone been successful in initialising, reading and writing to an SD card using ccs ex_fat.c? This topic has been discussed many times before but I can't find someone who has successfully used all the above functions
I am using a PIC18F 3.3V microcontroller. Have made changes to mmc and fat drivers as Andrew has mentioned but my SD card just can't initialise :(
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Yes, used them on several occasions without problems.
Things needed:
1) Tweak to handle cards that have an offset start address - patches posted here, or ensure the cards are formatted by the PIC itself.
2) Avoid cards 4GB or larger.
3) Correct level translation if using 5v - much easier using 3.3v as you are.
4) Remember you still need the pull-up resistors, even when using 3.3v. Missing these is a classic.
