"No program tool configured" error
PostPosted: Fri Aug 09, 2013 10:39 am     Reply with quote

After a bit of downtime and missing lots of version updates from late 4.x through 5.10 I have a few projects on my bench again.

I upgraded to 5.10 today and I've updated ccsload as well. It seems somewhere along the way my ccs compiler -> ccsload association has gone away and I've got no idea where/how to fix it.

If I select "Build & Run" from the new compile menu, I get an error "No program tool configured". I've googled this error and checked the forums quickly but no go. I reinstalled both the compiler and loader in case one would fix other, no joy there either.

I know someone here has the magic solution.. any ideas how to fix?

Got a quick response from CCS support for this. There's a "reset" button in "options -> ide -> tools" and it should default everything back to sane values..
