Buy a later compiler.
It has been in the compiler's device library for a long time. Quick check shows it there in all the V5 compilers. 4.141, etc.. Even back to 4.118. Not there in 4.112 though, so it was added early 2011.
Understand that the file, does not add support for a chip. The device database with the compiler has to also know about the chip, and this was updated at the same time, so you need a later compiler. |

Just buy the update. Gives you one year ability to download the latest versions of your compiler. |

I used it in latest version of 4, before the 5, and there was a bug in a serial port implementation. I have not correct it, not tested even in details, just change the processor. On Monday I will have new PCB for another project with a place for the PIC16F1825 and will test it in any case with 5.013, so if you wait until mid of next week you will have more detailed info.
Warmest Regards |
