Hello
I'm new on this forum and first, i would like to wish you all the best for 2K18!!
2/ in a close future, i envisage to use the new PIC18F25/26K83 for the Special UART and the Hardware CRC and i don't see it in the list device in
the device list supported web page!
https://www.ccsinfo.com/devices.php?page=devices#PIC18F2680
Do you plan to add this MCU in CCS C list device?

This is _not_ CCS. If you want to get the proper answer, you need to ask them, not the forum (we are just users).
However, CCS normally add support for the chips within a few weeks of production release. These officially came out in August but had a 12 week lead time then. Reasonable quantities have appeared with suppliers like Mouser only in the last few weeks, and only in certain versions. They are still quoting May, or June release for several of the packages. I'd honestly expect them to appear in the next compiler release. However then 'beware' that you may well find bugs in the first few releases, especially on new features....
The lag has got a bit worse recently, because MicroChip seem determined to launch chips by the hundreds, rather than a few at a time. |
