Program to LMB204BDC LCD
PostPosted: Fri Jun 12, 2009 3:40 am     Reply with quote

Dear all,

I need write a program to communicate with LMB204BDC LCD. I am using 16f877a micro controller. So if anyone of can guide me on these matters, it would be a great help for me.

Is there a way to connect LMB204BDC LCD to the Parallel port of a PC and communicate using a program written by high level language?

Thanks in advance.

You can probably make it work with the 16F877 by using the 20x4 Flex driver:

See the Crystalfontz link below. Look at the CrystalControl2
program. They have instructions on how to connect your LCD to a
parallel port. Also look at the link for Third Party software.

I have never used this type of software and I can't provide any help on it.
