7 segment and 74hc595

Hello friends..
I have a question about 74ch595 and 7 segment common cathode display.
I have 3 push buttons. I'm trying to show on display 1-2-3 by using this buttons. If I push the button 1 I cant see on display number 1.
I'm using CCS compiler to write code but I couldn't Smile

I have trouble with code.
Could you please help if someone have any idea how can I will solve this problem ..

Sounds like school's in and here's another homework assignment.

You could start by looking at the fine example that CCS kindly supplies in their examples folder....

Also use Google to search for you.I got over 75,000 'hits',lots of code 'on the web'.

But really you should cut your own code to truly understand HOW the PIC and other chips work.

For additioanl help here, you'll need to supply the PIC used, compiler version,real hardware construction NOT simulator(NONE work correctly), and of course your code.
