I have an IDE compiler. May I buy maintenance for a command-line compiler?

Yes. You should install the new registration files in a separate directory to preserve your older IDE version. However, if you overwrite your current IDE compiler with your maintenance, you will lose your IDE.

Also, your newest command-line compiler may not work with the IDE that you have.
